Cabopino is a charming, tranquil marina on the Costa del Sol near Marbella. It’s flanked by white sandy beaches and built in the style of the famous Spanish White Villages, there no two houses are the same. It is a golfer’s paradise with thirty golf courses in the area, and the fabulous New Cabopino with walking distance.
In the summer months there are water sports and a Dolphin Safari Boat operating out of a small harbour of about a hundred boats ranging from dinghies up to seventy-five foot motor cruisers.
The marina has a wonderful, friendly atmosphere. There are eighteen bars and restaurants – some of which are actually situated on the beach – where one can snack on Spanish tapas, delicious local fish, or choose from their menus. In the port itself there is a wide range of international restaurants – English, Spanish, Italian and Chinese.
There is even a well-concealed (and well soundproofed) nightclub.
In the marina there is a small shop selling most essentials and within a short distance are a variety of large supermarkets. Also close by is an old Spanish Coaching Inn with a small par three golf course.
